HUIYING MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

Women's health and wellness for the betterment of society

WHAT WE DO

Huiying Memorial Foundation is private, grant-making institution focused on supporting women's health and wellness initiatives. We provide funding to other nonprofit institutions in order to support their existing activities, or to develop special grant programs that promote our mission.

WOMEN'S HEALTH
MEDICAL RESEARCH

Women's health research has historically been understudied and underfunded. We provide grants to premier research institutions specifically to study diseases and disorders that disproportionally affect, manifest differently in, or are exclusive to women. Additionally, we fund research on sex chromosomes, in order to better understand the effects of sex chromosome differences on basic biology and societal outcomes, especially in relation to women and other underserved populations.

SUPPORTING UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES

We work with well-established charities
and community organizations to provide financial and medical assistance to homeless and vulnerable women.
By providing funding to existing programs and taking advantage of pre-established infrastructure, we deliver immediate and effective relief to the people
who need it most.

EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT

We incorporate internship opportunities into many of our grant projects, sponsor post-doctoral fellowships, and fund scholarships and leadership training programs targeted at underprivileged young women, supporting career development at every level and allowing the leaders of the future a seat at the table today.
